Rasesh Shah is a technology and business leader with 30+ years of experience spanning technology, analytics, consulting, digital transformation, and business leadership. He currently serves as Chief Practice Officer – EdTech at Fractal, where he leads Fractal Analytics Academy and is responsible for scaling its EdTech business and building an ecosystem of AI and analytics professionals.
A technologist with a strong focus on business outcomes, Rasesh has built and scaled multiple practices during his long association with Fractal. His experience includes leading the Financial Services and Consumer-Packaged Goods practices, establishing Big Data and Visualization capabilities, and serving as Chief Information Officer, where he led enterprise-wide digitalization, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, automation, and technology integration initiatives.
He is also passionate about education and entrepreneurship, serving as a Professor of Practice at Father Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering and a Mentor at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, where he mentors startups in the AI sector. He has also created the Coursera course “Generative AI for Business – A Leaders’ Handbook.”

- Currently serves as Chief Practice Officer – EdTech at Fractal, where he established and leads the EdTech practice, scaling its services among Fortune 1000 clients and building an AI and analytics talent ecosystem.
- Previously served as Chief Information Officer at Fractal, leading the company’s technology and digitalization strategy across employee experience, operational effectiveness, and client experience.
- Led major technology initiatives including cloud migration across Azure, AWS and GCP, DevOps, cybersecurity operations, SASE and Zero Trust architecture, enterprise automation, and integration of acquired entities.
- Established Fractal’s Big Data and Visualization practice, developing advanced visualization capabilities and the Codebox visualization repository using platforms including Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire and open-source technologies.

- Earlier at Mastek, managed large delivery organizations including a 600-member team and GBP 60 million revenue, with responsibility for P&L, delivery, profitability, client satisfaction, and leadership development.
- At Tata Infotech (TCS), managed large technology programmes including SignBANK and UniTrade, with teams of up to 350 professionals.
- Began his career as a Software Engineer at Tandon Data Systems, developing enterprise applications including payroll and inventory-management systems.
