Dr. Santhana Lakshmi K has over 25 years of academic experience and is currently serving as HR Head of the MBA Department at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She has extensive experience in teaching, academic administration, research, institutional initiatives, and management education.
Her areas of expertise include Human Resource Management, Strategic HRM, Strategic Management, Industrial Relations, Work-Life Balance, Workplace Discrimination, Psychological Contracts, Employee Engagement, Experiential Learning, and Workplace Happiness.
She has been actively involved in university-level initiatives, serving as a member of the Anti-Ragging and Grievance & Redressal Committee. She has also been the Overall Event Organizer for International Women’s Day at the University level since 2012 and the Convener of AGAM, a management fest, since 2018.
Dr. Santhana Lakshmi has undertaken research and entrepreneurship-development projects supported by DST-NIMAT/EDII and received SERI research funding from SRMIST. She has published research papers in ABDC- and Scopus-indexed journals and has presented her research at several national and international conferences.
