Vinay Kumar is a senior academic leader, finance scholar, and higher education administrator with over two decades of experience in academic leadership, finance education, institutional development, and executive education. He currently serves as Vice Chancellor of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad. Previously, he served as Pro Vice Chancellor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Director at GITAM Deemed University, Director at NMIMS Bengaluru, and Professor of Finance at IIM Lucknow for over 21 years.
His expertise combines finance, analytical decision-making, curriculum innovation, strategic academic management, and executive education. During his tenure at SRMIST, he contributed to the introduction of new programmes, accreditation initiatives, and institutional development, while also being involved in developing finance courses and executive training programmes.
