Dr. K. C. John is an accomplished academic, entrepreneur, and technology-management professional with extensive experience spanning entrepreneurship, strategy, technology innovation, and sustainable development. He currently serves as Director and Professor at the Faculty of Management, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research, Chennai. He previously served as Distinguished Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at Great Lakes Institute of Management from 2013 to 2020.
Dr. John has held senior leadership roles across technology start-ups and organizations including AGNITY Technologies, GENBAND, BayPackets Technologies, Qualcomm, JobsDB, and River Run Software Group. His entrepreneurial and cross-functional experience encompasses business strategy, product development, product management, business development, strategic alliances, and scaling technology ventures. He has also worked with international development organizations including the World Bank and Ford Foundation.
